Part of what makes our area so appealing is the lack of highrise condominiums, hotels, and fast food restaurants. Unfortunately, that can pose a slight "inconvenience" for vacationers needing the shopping convenience of a "Wal-Mart",  department store or other full service stores usually found in larger metropolitan areas. The closest Wal-Mart or full service department store is over 25 miles from Mexico Beach and close to 50 miles for Cape San Blas vacationers. There is a Piggly Wiggly located in Port St Joe that offers wonderful baked goods, deli (Boar's Head meats) and quite possibly, the best fried chicken in FL! However, it does not carry alcoholic beverages.

Forgotten Coast Concierge provides grocery shopping and delivery, personal assistance, and vacation planning services for vacationers. We have the resources at our fingertips to assist your every need while here at our beautiful, "forgotten" coast.

We are family owned & operated. We are fully licensed and insured! The reason we founded Forgotten Coast Concierge is after my family had a 4-generation family reunion. No sooner had we arrived and exchanged hugs and kisses that we had to run to the grocery store. No one wanted this chore as we all had just driven long distances, some with an 8-month old and a 3-year old. Others were pulling boats and had to deal with where to park the trailers, store the boats, etc. “Man – wouldn’t it be great if you could walk into a fully stocked home complete with the beverages of your choice!” Kids don’t want to be told to pile back in a car after a 9-hour drive. Not when beautiful white sandy beaches are beckoning!
